Transdifferentiation and Recruitment in the Miyamoto Lab

We wish our departing research technicians the very best of luck in their future endeavors. Erika is starting graduate school as a PhD student at Columbia University, and Jake is starting a job as a Research Scientist at the Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research! Haley is now a student in the Yale University School of Nursing, although she continues to work part-time (per diem) on bioinformatics projects for the Miyamoto Lab.

We welcome new members of the Miyamoto Lab who started earlier this year. Oluwakemi graduated from Wellesley College, and Nicola from Northeastern University, and both joined as research technicians in August 2021. Noriyuki also joined as a postdoctoral fellow in a joint position with the Held Lab this summer. We also look forward to welcoming Olivia who graduated from the University of New Haven and will start working as a research technician in January 2022. Finally, we welcome Klara who will join as a Master’s student in March of 2022. We are looking forward to working with all of you!
